Last Week At The MTC

Only getting to talk to Alysha once a week is a lot harder than I thought it was going to be.  I really miss checking in with her daily to hear about her day.  We enjoyed more time today group messaging while she was doing her laundry and then got to video chat with her this evening for a little bit as she was getting ready to repack all of her luggage for Monday when she flies out to Indiana.  It was so good to hear about her week and laugh and chat with our whole family.  They were doing a challenge this week of talking with more dignified language or do 10 pushups which she apparently has done a lot of!  Unfortunately she messed up 3 times while she was talking to us saying "you guys" which amounted to 30 pushups, but, Hyrum volunteered to do them for her which he did so she was covered!  She isn't big into writing so this week she just did a video instead of a long email.  I'll try to post it, but, not sure if it will work.  She challenged us to not let the fact that she will be in Indiana get us down and to not let our own problems get us down.  It's going to be hard though, because it really freaks me out that she will no longer be in the state of Utah as of Monday morning and the next time we talk to her it will be in Indiana sometime next week.  I've made myself a couple of scripture signs to remind myself that everything is going to be okay.   Sister Cox video blog
