The Ups & Downs of Missionary Life Week 5 & 6

Hey ya'll! Didn't email last p-day! Sorry but it was a crazy day! So I'll cover 2 weeks. Last week our furnace broke! But it's fixed and working now! Accidentally broke the word of Wisdom! But we've repented now! Had 2 fake referrals! But I'm almost over it now. We went to a relief society activity, and that was so powerful!! Wish our investigators could have came. Also, we called up some random numbers to try to share messages about Jesus Christ and found Chris! The miracle is that the second call/lesson I fumbled through, the miracle is that she still wanted to hear from us again! (God can use the weak and simple!) Then on the 3rd call with her, we talked about the Book of Mormon. We found out she lives in Florida, but she is excited to learn more. She called us this week to tell us that the Florida Elders brought her a copy of the BoM! I'm excited for her, but wish she was in Indy so we could teach her!

K For this week, we had zone conference! That was amazing. What a powerful spirit was there!
We also met a lady named Christine that the missionaries before me have been working with! She is so sweet and has a great family! I'm so excited to work with her!
Sister Kimmerle and I did a little bit of Holiday decorating in our apartment!
We also got to get up early and teach early morning seminary for a day! That was fun, but early!
We also had some plans fall through that ended up being good! We were going to do some street contacting, then decided it was too cold and before we decided what to do instead, an investigator called and invited us to dinner. It was the best interaction we've had with her!
Then last night we were hunting down a referral, but couldn't find the house and ended up visiting some members and had a great little lesson with them! They were converts and had a powerful spirit about them! I loved that! It was good to meet some more members in the ward.
Okay, enjoy this email, you probably won't get a typed one next week. Way too much work yall!
Have a good Thanksgiving! Take some time to thank God for your blessings!
