Week 45

 Hi Everyone!

This week was pretty sweet! We were at a gas station, and I had some pamphlets in my hand, and a guy standing in line ASKED for one! It was so sweet! We had a lil' conversation!

Also, I went on an exchange with Sister Thompson this week and it was so awesome! She is such an awesome missionary. I loved hearing about why she wanted to serve a mission, and just her love for the Lord and the gospel! It was just such an uplifting exchange for me!

Nancy is chilling, she's sick, but we'll get to have another lesson soon.

Kara is Amazing as always!

Update on the Jessica's. One Jessica said she wasn't interested any more. Another Jessica hasn't responded to our contacts, and the other Jessica we had a great lesson with yesterday. We are best buds with her and her 12 and 6 year old boys!!

We Got Transfer news, I'll be staying with Sister SilvaCaycedo and we'll be training a brand new missionary! So excited to be in a trio again! I'm excited to train too!

Lots of ups and downs this week, that's kinda the missionary life I guess. But I discovered the joy of bullet Journaling during lunch and dinner hours. Haha.

Here's a clip from a talk I studied and loved by President Nelson!
"Two years ago, Sister Nelson and I visited Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, and Tahiti. Each of those island nations had experienced heavy rains for days. Members had fasted and prayed that their outdoor meetings would be protected from the rain.
In Samoa, Fiji, and Tahiti, just as the meetings began, the rain stopped. But in Tonga, the rain did not stop. Yet 13,000 faithful Saints came hours early to get a seat, waited patiently through a steady downpour, and then sat through a very wet two-hour meeting.
We saw vibrant faith at work among each of those islanders—faith sufficient to stop the rain and faith to persevere when the rain did not stop.
The mountains in our lives do not always move how or when we would like. But our faith will always propel us forward. Faith always increases our access to godly power.
Please know this: if everything and everyone else in the world whom you trust should fail, Jesus Christ and His Church will never fail you. The Lord never slumbers, nor does He sleep. He “is the same yesterday, today, and [tomorrow].” He will not forsake His covenants, His promises, or His love for His people. He works miracles today, and He will work miracles tomorrow."

I think that's about it for this week! Have a great week!
