Weekly Email
Hi
Everyone!
Sorry I didn't write last week, I ran out of time on Pday.
These week was sweet. Lots of awkward moments 🤢 (Lol, our motto is "leave it in
July".) But we also saw, a lot of miracles.
We had zone conference and I was asked like 2 days before to do
a musical number, I only had one chance to practice. It wasn't sounding too
good during the practice, but when I performed, it went a lot better. #Blessing
of playing in faith.
Facebook miracles are brewing, I posted about free cacti family
portraits and it's had a great response, it starts such awesome conversations
about people's families, and will lead into gospel conversations!
We helped a lady start her family history, and that was so neat!
The spirit of Elijah was so strong as we talked, to see a connected family, is
just so cool!!
Then one day last week, we're in a town at the far end of our
area, that we rarely go to, and we go to knock on a lady's door. She doesn't
answer so we start to drive away, and she comes out! We said hi and she invited
us in. We had a good visit and an impromptu lesson. Woot!
THEN
We stop by the house of a family in our area book. They were
moving that day. Like, the Dad told us he was just grabbing the last few things
and would be headed to the new place. If we had come just one day later, it
would have been too late. Instead, because we came at this inspired time, we
got their new address and set up a time to meet on Sunday (IT WAS AN AWESOME
LESSON BTW!!!) An important principle is taught here! God didn't forget about
Johnathan's family! He knew the exact time we needed to get down there and
visit. God's timing is perfect!
THEN
We called a referral and they remembered they had signed up for
it and were actually interested!!!
AND THEN
I was like, "let's go grab one more miracle before heading
to Seymour" I was kinda kidding, but bro this one was awesome! We stopped
by the house of a lady the sisters had knocked on. We shared a message, and she
shared how she had seen God's hand in her life. It was so powerful. We had the
chance to just listen mostly, and to feel compassion for this beloved daughter
of God. Sister SilvaCaycedo shared a few verses from the Book of Mormon, and we
could tell it really touched Diane. We gave her a copy of the Book of Mormon,
but she had heard of it because her neighbor down the street is a member of the
church and had mentioned it. Member missionaries' impact is priceless!!! We're
going back to her house this week.
That day left me in awe. God is in the details.
Also went to church. That was awesome! I love going to
church.
Okay, that about sums up the week. Love you all!
