This
week was good!
Did some knocking in the rain, teaching at the library, eating
chicken hearts, just the usual.
Our friend is working on quitting smoking and we put him on date
again, but then we also talked about the temple and put him on date to go to
the temple after baptism, I think expanding his vision to after baptism will be
helpful!
I love this talk from President Eyring, O Remember, Remember,
and a paragraph from it: I wrote down a few lines every day for years. I never
missed a day no matter how tired I was or how early I would have to start the
next day. Before I would write, I would ponder this question: “Have I seen the
hand of God reaching out to touch us or our children or our family today?” As I
kept at it, something began to happen. As I would cast my mind over the day, I
would see evidence of what God had done for one of us that I had not recognized
in the busy moments of the day. As that happened, and it happened often, I
realized that trying to remember had allowed God to show me what He had done.
When you take time to remember what God has done for you, you
will see it happening in your life.
Sorry it's a short one this week. I gave a talk in church
yesterday and that took forever to type up and I’m a little tired of typing.
Haha.
I know God loves you! He's aware of you. The Book of Mormon is
true, the Bible too, and Jesus Christ is living and guiding and directing his
church.
Love,
Sister Cox
