I'm in a Trio

Image
Hello everyone! It was a wild week. We dropped off Sister Baumgartner at the airport, and she made it to the Philippines! I joined a trio with some STLs in the neighboring zone, Sister Whiting and Sister Reese. This has been amazing they are awesome Sisters. We are double covering Eagle Creek and the Indy YSA ward. Double covering is kinda fun. We are literally so busy all the time. Not a day goes by without teaching a lesson. Every night I flop onto my bed exhausted, but satisfied! It's hard, but awesome. (Although I'll be happy to go back to not double covering once transfers hit next week).  We got to go to a guy's baptism named Owen in the Indy YSA ward and I was able to play the piano for that meeting. It was awesome to watch! Owen is literally so prepared and progressed so fast! ☆Okay updates on people we're teaching☆ Toneisha She came to church! She didn't have any church clothes so Sister B and I both gave her one of our skirts so she could have something to...

Missionary Bikers!

Hello Everyone! It was a crazy week! We biked like 7 miles to get to an appointment with Shante. We taught her the restoration and it went pretty good. Turns out she's like best friends with Toneisha. Anyway, then we biked to the library and Sister B's foot was hurting. Luckily Elder Page, one of the senior missionaries, is a pediatrist, and they brought us our car!!!!  We also gave Toniesha a tour of the Church! She loved it, but didnt make it on Sunday. Hopefully next week. Also my Comp was reassigned, to Indiana, but she's shipping off to her original mission in the Philippines this week! Not sure what's gonna happen to me, but I'll keep you posted next email. We gave a lot of ultimatums this week as we cleaned up the area book and a lot of people responded positively! I don't know if that makes sense. Haha okay that's all. Bye! Sister Cox 1. A family in the ward! 2. Temple 3. Biking missionaries 4. Elder and Sister Page! 5. My district 6. Drawings abou...

An Awesome Week!

Image
Hello Everyone! This week was pretty awesome. We borrowed the car from the Elders, so that was sweet! We had zone conference and I was able to say hi to Sister Kimmerle and Sister Hales! It was an amazing conference! I went on exchanges with Sister Oliphant in Beach Grove again and we taught this lady and her granddaughter the restoration. This was soooo so powerful! Probably the highlight of my week! Sister Oliphant loves to draw, so we drew for a little together! 🥳 We also had another lesson with Toneisha! An in-between her kids plastering stickers all over us and her, (and they made us string/bead jewelry sooo cute!) She told us that she had almost finished the Book of Mormon. She said that she really liked it, and wants more to read! We invited her to pray about it! We'll also be doing a church tour with her this Saturday! And she'll hopefully come Sunday! Here's a talk I listened to this week and I loved it! I would recommend! Check it out:  https://speeches.byu.edu...

Hello Indy!

Image
Hello! This week we had transfers and I shipped out to Eagle Creek to whitewash with Sister B. It's kinda crazy for both of us to transfer in, we don't really know what we're doing, but it's okay. Haha. We also don't have our own car, because ours is in the shop right now, but we're borrowing the mission van, so that's fun! It has Bluetooth, so it's pretty much luxury.  We've met a few people so far! Tanisha and her kids are my favorite! We taught them the Plan of Salvation. She told us, "yes, this sound familiar". I love this family!! We came by a second time and the kids ran up to hug us they were so excited! Literally the cutest things ever.  My new district is seriously composed if the ZLs, STLs, DL, and President Page's Brother Elder Page and Sister Page, a new senior missionary couple! It's kind crazy, awesome.  We're still working on cleaning up this area book and figuring things out, but we can do it! Miracle this week...
