Hi everyone!!  I've tried to start writing this email like four times now and keep getting sidetracked, ha-ha. This week has been fun, we welcomed our new missionary into our companionship, Sister Pope! She is an incredible missionary, ready to hit the ground running, which is good because we have had a busy week. Sometimes there's not enough time in the week to go finding because we do so much teaching.   So on Sunday we had 5 friends come to church!!!!! Darrin came to our ward for the first time. He has gone to other wards as he's moved and met with missionaries, but after sacrament meeting, he asked when he could be baptized. YO! DARREN IS SO COOL!! He hasn't been taught everything yet, but we put him on date for late September. So excited for him! His testimony of God and of the church is so sweet! Kara is still amazing, just waiting to turn 18 to get baptized! Also, Patty and her family came to church! That was awesome. She's still working on quitting sm...

Week 45

Hi Everyone!  This week was pretty sweet! We were at a gas station, and I had some pamphlets in my hand, and a guy standing in line ASKED for one! It was so sweet! We had a lil' conversation! Also, I went on an exchange with Sister Thompson this week and it was so awesome! She is such an awesome missionary. I loved hearing about why she wanted to serve a mission, and just her love for the Lord and the gospel! It was just such an uplifting exchange for me!  Nancy is chilling, she's sick, but we'll get to have another lesson soon.  Kara is Amazing as always!  Update on the Jessica's. One Jessica said she wasn't interested any more. Another Jessica hasn't responded to our contacts, and the other Jessica we had a great lesson with yesterday. We are best buds with her and her 12 and 6 year old boys!!  We Got Transfer news, I'll be staying with Sister SilvaCaycedo and we'll be training a brand new missionary! So excited to be in a trio again! I'm excited...

Week 44 Email--10 Months as a Missionary!

Hi Everyone!   This week we met a lady named Jessica, and her family. The last three new people we’ve found have been named Jessica. Some missionaries have good weeks or rainy weeks, taco weeks, we have: Jessica weeks. Lol. But her family was so sweet and Sister SilvaCaycedo hopped on one of the kid’s scooters.    While on exchanges this week, we were walking by a street and there was a lady out on her porch, and I felt like we should talk with her, and we did and she was so cool! We invited her to church and set up a return appointment! It was sweet! And she had just moved from where I live, in Seymour, from the exact apartment building! Lol, what are the odds!   We also, were thinking we would stop teaching Austin, but decided to knock one more time, and we had such a great restoration lesson! It was awesome! So, we're going back this Tuesday.   We also had another lesson with Wenston. He's excited about the ability to listen to the scriptures o...

Hi Everyone!   Sorry I didn't write last week, I ran out of time on Pday.    These week was sweet. Lots of awkward moments 🤢 (Lol, our motto is "leave it in July".) But we also saw, a lot of miracles.   We had zone conference and I was asked like 2 days before to do a musical number, I only had one chance to practice. It wasn't sounding too good during the practice, but when I performed, it went a lot better. #Blessing of playing in faith.    Facebook miracles are brewing, I posted about free cacti family portraits and it's had a great response, it starts such awesome conversations about people's families, and will lead into gospel conversations!   We helped a lady start her family history, and that was so neat! The spirit of Elijah was so strong as we talked, to see a connected family, is just so cool!!   Then one day last week, we're in a town at the far end of our area, that we rarely go to, and we go to knock ...
